Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at William Bruce Elementary! We are so excited to partner with you as we begin another exciting year of learning, growth, and community. At Bruce, our mission is simple yet powerful: to educate and support every student as they grow into lifelong learners. This mission guides all that we do—from the classroom to the playground, and beyond.
This year, we are also continuing our commitment to practicing the R Factor:
E + R = O (Event + Response = Outcome).
We teach our students—and model for them—the importance of responding thoughtfully to the events in their lives. By choosing discipline over default, and intention over impulse, we can influence outcomes and take ownership of our path forward. It’s a mindset that empowers our school community to grow both academically and personally.
As we begin this new year together, I encourage you to stay connected, involved, and engaged in your child’s educational journey.
